I am a selftaught painter & sculptor born i 1962 on the rocky island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea.

Some of my most beautiful moments have been wandrering the countryside on my parents land outside Gudhjem where I spent my younger years.

Here, overlooking the rocky colourful seaside of Salene Bugten, I explored the deep green woods, climbed the clifs, sat on the rocks by the lake and felt the freedom and the harmony of the sorrounding nature penetrate deeper and deeper into my soul. I was fulfilled and felt blessed and humble.

This energy will forever run through my veins and it is my source of inspiration. I unfold my soul when I work – I remember my deepest sensations and all my beautiful encounters with nature from my past to the present. Thus my work is a manifestation of this rememberance and each painting becomes a seeking poetic offset of feelings and sensations as I revisit my inner landscapes, this is where I come from – this is where my life began – this is who I am.
